Teaching Life Saving Skills in Central Florida

This course is designed for workers in the commercial market who must receive bloodborne pathogens training per OSHA Standard 1910.1030. All courses offered follow and are approved by this standard. This course takes approximately 2 hours of classroom time. AHA requires the purchase of the corresponding book for each person, for each type of AHA Course you take. The book is good for initial certification and for renewals. Your book is good until a newer book comes out. Once you purchase a AHA Course book, you will not need to buy another one again until a newer edition comes out and is required by the AHA. On average, AHA changes the books about every 6 to 8 years.

Ordering a Course

You can pay for your course and book right here on-line. When you order your book and course, include in the comments on the payment which upcoming class you will be attending. If there are not any scheduled classes, you can order the course and book/CD, receive them both in the mail, with instructions, and a written test. Once you complete your test, fax or email your answers in. Once this is done, all you have to do is schedule a time to meet in person to do the Physical Skills Check off. This skill check off usually takes 30 to 60 minutes and can usually be arranged in the Leesburg area.
